My who and why: who I am is that I am reclaiming my power with each practice.
I tried to eat something that I hadn't eaten in a longtime. After 2 bites, I could pick up on my body's signaling that the food did not agree with me.
My stomach felt disturbed. I don't think I would have caught that there was a problem until maybe half way through the meal, resulting a painful stomach ache, had it not been for this practice.
I found something else, and I closed my eyes to assist me with concentrating on the chewing and tasting. I ate half of what I would usually eat.
