I've read somewhere that lack of energy can make people addicted to certain type of activity like for example : drinking coffee, smoking, eating sugar, or entertainment which is in a way people are trying to get energy, so maybe with the chewing challenge we can overcome those addictive behavior better since we have enough energy from doing challenge maybe ? but anyway the challenge thus far has definitely given me a more positive change in my attitude like i'm more calmer and peaceful and not get jerked by feeling or emotions and more in charge of my own life and do things that actually matters. the after meal experience after eating is also much more pleasant (no more choking) and mental clarity, so i can i see my self doing this challenge for a long time.

hah, I thought I was the only one who was choking after eating! If and when I forget to chew a bit, I still choke... Interestingly, although it has a physical component, it is not an illness: it is a behavioral aberration.
And yes. Most people are addicted to something. Most people, at least as far as I know, are addicted to proving themselves the arbiter of the Universe. Incessant putting their two cents worth, forcing others to do things their way... while they are dying.
I am very happy to hear about your changes in attitude. I am sure the physical effects will follow, muscle growth especially, and the cessation of some numbness... also a behavioral aberration.
