If I were a gambling man, I'd place a fat wager on the major source of my cancer being living in a hurry and being delusional.

A few quick things I noticed:
1. I would chew my food as if it was a chore-as if the food was supposed be there.
2. I would drive as if I am entitled to drive at the speed I want to drive, especially when a bicyclist is in front of me.
3. I would pout when a 'supposedly' close friend didn't return my phone calls

The drink your food challenge is helping with the living in a hurry, as I'm noticing. Yesterday was kind of nice as I cut off the outside distractions and treated my chewing as if I was spending time with myself. The savoring of it was even pleasurable at times.

Now, I am and certainly have been of the delusional type. What I find interesting is that I can better see after the Drink...challenge, is that slowing down to appreciate what I'm doing while learning something would seem to take the pressure off of having to ALREADY be at the finish line.

I noticed that being more present with my driving makes it more enjoyable. Imagine that!!

I got to bed earlier last night and I was able to do some research I've been wanting to do, as well as report in here and still get to my driving earlier. Something small, but I'm pleased.

So, I'll continue these practices throughout the day and see what I see.

good noticing. I am glad you are managing to slow down, at least some of the time. Because your assessment about what caused your cancer: you are 100% accurate.
