My Floor 10/29

I lost 47 years of my life- a loss of 47 years of growth and creation by way of a decision of a 3 year old. Billions and billions of others have done the same. Surprisingly, it’s not personal.
Deciding that “It’s not fair” was not wrong.. Why? I made the decision.

There are so many ways that my falsely appearing stable life can be disrupted. Some I can see, and others, not even a clue.
“It’s not fair” is just not useful to me or anyone. It’s like we are on a planet with raw materials and an innumerable amount of possibilities for how life can present itself. For which “It’s not fair” just doesn’t allow for the unfolding of life.

But wait! I’m no philosopher and insights are-as you say- a dime a dozen 🙂
So, let me attempt to bring something practical to this.

I think my floor- “This isn’t fair” has not only nudged me to not bother going for it in life; I think it somehow urges me to want to be somewhere else instead of where I am.

I started on the book: ‘The Language of Commitment’ and it starts off analyzing Michelangelo's approach to his famed ‘David’ sculpture.
Here’s the thing: there’s no way I could ever accomplish anything the world or even a few others would find truly useful (transformational), if I can’t be with something long enough to chip away at a masterpiece. This may be clumsy, but I hope you get what I’m saying.

Michelangelo worked on ‘David’ for supposedly 3 years. He must not have been concerned with being anywhere other than where he was.

So, reading is one area I will practice being fully where I am or as you put it: putting all power into action. I’m ready to let go of there being some better faster, easier way to grow. Besides, the only way to be a match to life is to build myself, not my savings account. Money can be taken.

PS. Today’s EyeQ training was interesting as I could compare it to how I used to do these kinds of trainings.
I can read as slow as I read. Whatever the speed record is, is fine. No need to rush through anything, it only screws me later. Worrying about my speed level is majoring in the minors (I love this frame).

I am glad you are reading, and I am glad you started to use the eyeQ. nothing more I can say... because I don't quite know what is your purpose. I don't know if you have a project or just doing things randomly.
