They will call me a Coon! for this...

Post by Majeed »

...yep, the enslavement of Africans could have been the greatest opportunity for the conditioning a group of people for what life truly seems to be- unapologetically dynamic.

Also, and it's soberingly clear- the only reason I’m not dead already is because I grazed in the middle of the pack of sheep.

By the way, this bit of looking has kept me from sleeping so hopefully there will be some order to this.

I had the luck or something that has led me to this series of shows starting with ‘1883’ and then ‘1923.’ They are about what life was like in America for those who journeyed out into the wild country and then later those who settled there.
What was unclear to me is how could people with so many solid character traits find themselves in such dire straits. TLB and such would have had to be much higher on average than what we see in today’s society.

So what gives? And then, I saw something. These hard working, hand shake honoring people were guilty of entitlement. Certainly not the ‘oh my god, you guys don’t have overnight delivery for my (whatever the f@ck)’ entitlement.

No, these folk were guilty of expecting things to stay the same. They worked their land a certain way and that is how things were supposed to stay. The competing sheep rancher looking to graze off of their land was just another dynamic force. The wealthy developer buying up the land around them to squeeze them out was just a dynamic force.
But because these fine folks had their way of doing things- which didn't come easy- they were entitled to being able to continue to do them the way they have been.

It seems that part of taking responsibility is looking outside of your world. This is, I suspect, why the 'sight' capacity is so important.

I’m not ready for the dynamic forces at my door. I’m just getting that they don’t give a shit if I am or not. They don’t care if I’m a nice guy or even if I happened to be a producer.

So, I’m leaning towards the notion that LIFE only cares about growth and we may get just enough time to develop ourselves to meet the challenges of life’s dynamic forces.

Yesterday, I was pleased with myself as I worked through a technical issue I had with setting up a business email. I just stayed with it until I eventually got it to work. Not a major triumph to brag about, but a little something in the direction I want to go.
However, I don’t have the luxury of ‘resting on my laurels.’ The wolves are at the gate.

I want to continue this post, but I’m not yet clear on my course of action even though I think it involves producing something in volume without concern for its quality so much. And, I thank you for being instrumental or the instrument in me getting to the point where I even have a chance to grow.

long post, and I am not sure I follow it, I detected two things you want to get conscious about: HURRY and FEAR...

Nothing can work if those are hiding from you....

Yes, that was a long and confusing post. Apologies. Let me attempt to be clearer, and hopefully concise.

I have the 'It's not fair' floor. I was finding that through the American pioneer drama series or the stories everywhere about slavery or the spike in car-jackings where I live, my 'It's not fair' is ready to take over. What I saw as a common thread is they are not personal. They have nothing to do with fair. All seemingly, just different forces in life.

Now, the hurry and fear, well, yeah as usual, you are spot on. This will definitely require more vigilance. I'm starting to look where/how I'm operating from it. Thank you
