I have found myself as unsure as I am interested in this challenge. Yesterday, I wasted a clear hour-absolutely sure of it. This was after I was trying to work out what specific exercise am I going to do to measure whether or not I'm doing this challenge.
Earlier today, I wrestled bringing my attention to reading your article. It was really going all over the place. That constant process of bringing my attention back to what I'm doing seems to be the thing to do in all of this.
Although, investing, bringing joy, or personable, or any other way of being has got my beak wet, if that's the right phrase.
There is something I grew up with that I couldn't see until just now: 'If I give and it is not returned, then I lose.' And, of course, losing is for chumps (as how I had it).
It seems that what I bring to any moment is up to me, so I can be a winner by way of what I bring to the moment, or at least, it seems I would be fulfilled.
Funny thing is, I experienced a little of this in the Drink your Food challenge, but I didn't think to expand it to other activities and interactions. DUH! Heck, I didn’t think it was possible to bring enjoyment to eating just rice, but we will see.
So, maybe the work is monitoring when my attention goes away from what I'm doing and bringing it back after I've set up what being I want to bring to the thing I'm doing??
Ok, this is where I can use some of that sweet Sophie sauce.
Rocky Start, But So What
Re: Rocky Start, But So What
Sophie sauce aside: yes. just spend the whole week knowing what you bring to life, to everything, so you are in the driver's seat, maybe for the first time in life.Majeed wrote: ↑Tue Nov 07, 2023 12:53 pm I have found myself as unsure as I am interested in this challenge.
